Saponification is a chemical reaction in which a fatty substance and sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) react together to produce soap. When soap is made with more fatty substances (oils or butters) than the minimum amount necessary to combine with sodium hydroxide, it is said to be superfatted.

We strive to prepare your order as quickly as possible. During certain periods we may receive more orders than usual. This is why we plan to get your package to you within 4 to 8 business days of your order.

If you wish to make a modification to your current order, contact us as soon as possible. Once the order has been processed, it is no longer possible to make any changes or cancel it. 

Unless there is a manufacturing defect, our handcrafted products are non-refundable and non-returnable items. 

For hygiene and health reasons, we cannot take back the item once delivered

We ensure that the order is packaged correctly for transport, but if there is a damaged or missing item, you can contact us to resolve the problem together.

We live in a world where allergens are more and more numerous and we cannot guarantee that our soaps and other products will be appropriate for your skin type with regard to certain intolerances. We recommend that you do a small test to detect potential intolerance on limited and targeted areas such as using the soap on the inside of the forearm and hands for the first 24 to 48 hours. If a skin reaction occurs, it is best if it is localized. Avoid all contact with eyes. For external use only. If irritation, redness or itching occurs, discontinue use of the product immediately.

Please be advised that our soaps may vary from the photo as they are all unique and similar at the same time. Please note that all our products are handmade in an artisanal way. The size and colors of the soaps may vary slightly from the photo.

The packaging of your orders is done within 24-48 hours following the order. Delivery is usually within 3 to 6 days of shipment within Canada. For urgent orders or for pickup at our meeting point, please indicate this in the delivery options when you place the order online.

Of course! However, we advise avoiding soaps with essential oils with children until the age of 18 months. The alternative will then be our 100% olive oil soap, unscented.

When ordering, an order confirmation email is sent to you. A second one will be sent when your order leaves our production. These emails may end up in your spam folder, take a look :)

We do not have a physical store at the moment. Purchases are possible online. Free pickup of your order is possible at our location. This option is available upon confirmation of purchase.

This is a question that comes up very often. Many have been disappointed by shampoos which, although natural and filled with hair-nourishing ingredients, did not offer the desired sensation of that much-loved abundant lather. We have often associated rich foam with washing quality, but this is not the case. Although foam is very useful for spreading the product well on the hair, it does not provide any other benefit for the hair (on the contrary, dense and rich foam is often associated with irritating ingredients, such as sulfates). It's a big challenge to get a shampoo that produces abundant lather when switching to more natural options.
